UPDATE

I now know how to fix it, I just have to spend the time uploading some files. I still have no idea how it happened other than it seems that the website was being hosted on two separate servers over on the hosting company’s side and for whatever reasons, it decided that last night was the best time to have a hissy fit about it all.
 
I’m gonna take the opportunity to update some stuff over there such as the premium theme and some premium plugins I use that I stopped updating because I was sick of spending money on websites 🙂
 
Anyway, files are being uploaded so by this time tomorrow at the latest everything should be back, or better than it was.

So, as is the usual pattern, as soon as I try to do something personally meaningful the Universe gives me a huge slap on the wrist that knocks me back a few steps. Kinda like “Oh you think you’re doing something do you?? Well, how about this…”

It seems unlikely but enough people have seen this effect in action that there is no question that its a thing.

Anyway, adding Spud to the AIWW blog resulted in an absolutely catastrophic website meltdown, which I must add had zero to do with anything we actually did; all we did was make a couple of blog posts – no structural changes or anything behind the scenes.

First, the website became a 403 Forbidden Zone. Then it reverted to 2017 and now the backup has been restored but all the photos, art, images etc have mostly just disappeared.

I’m still working on it, and I know I will get it sorted as the Shadow/ Role/ Pattern is all about adding un-needed work, delay and inconvenience to my life rather than actually properly breaking or taking things away for good.
Also, part of the role is people not believing me when I talk about it, so I suspect most of you will comply with that 🙂

Turbine Syndrome is very close to issue 1 complete but more and more of these type of events are occurring that I have less and less time to get to art.
We’ll get there eventually. May out best days be ahead!
